VALOREM acquires a portfolio of 82 MW wind in Greece

VALOREM signed a deal to acquire a portfolio of 82 MW wind projects under various stage of developments in Greece with aim to finance, build and operate them in a short term period.

VALOREM set up an office at Athens in Greece and is also very active to develop PV with the target to be a significant actor in the renewable energy sector in Greece especially for wind, solar and hybrid power plants.

Jean-Yves Grandidier, founder and president of VALOREM said: “We are very pleased to increase our wind portfolio in Greece in addition to our PV development through this acquisition Greece is a priority market for VALOREM. VALOREM has the potential to actively participate to the REN development in Greece considering our strong experience, especially our island experience with hybrid systems. “
Frederic Lanoë, CEO of VALOREM adds : “We’ll continue to build a strong team in order to consolidate our presence and participate to Greece’s efforts to meet the EU target as well as to reduce its electricity bill through the development of green electricity production.
